Iron Maiden performed at The Forum in Inglewood, California on February 19th to promote their new DVD ‘Live After Death.’
 
With 19,000 rabid fans ready to rock, Maiden opened the show with ‘Aces High’ and ‘2 Minutes To Midnight.’ The band was in perfect form… their setlist also included ‘The Number of the Beast,’ ‘Heaven Can Wait,’ ‘Powerslave’ and ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner.’
 
Front man Bruce Dickinson announced to the sold out crowd that Maiden will be coming back to the states in May and do a small tour of the Southwest that includes San Antonio and Houston, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona before returning to L.A. for two more shows at the end of May.

Axl Rose Backstage Dressing Room/Tour Rider

When Guns N’ Roses performed at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg this summer, Swedish national TV station SVT was there and they recently posted a video of Axl Rose’s dressing room and backstage area.

From their concert last month in Belgrade, Serbia, it was revealed that GUNS N’ ROSES’ tour rider requested that Axl’s dressing room be all black and decorated with fresh roses, and that champagne, vodka, tequila, red wine and beer be available in the room.

In addition, Axl also wanted fresh roses, 18 each of red and white, in the band’s dressing room, along with “black napkins, a blender, a juice maker, a tea kettle, paper tissues, 18 glasses for wine and champagne, 15 glasses for stiff drinks, 40 paper glasses, six cutlery sets, two bottle openers and corkscrews, and one large and two smaller bread knives.”

  1. Iron Maiden kicked ass at that show even with the technical difficulties with Bruce's mic and Eddie wearing a Lakers jersey! The show reminded me of Long Beach back in the day. Maiden continous to make killer music to this day. Got my tickets for May 31st at Irvine Meadows!! Also great radio station keep up the great work. Thanks!!
